The ducks are doing good and the injured one is even great. Tomorrow I got to Forsyth to get more eggs to incubate!

We just got some new ducks this past weekend 3 are in good help but 2 are "rescues" what happened was the turkeys had pecked the eyes of the two and they have hip and leg deformation. I have to pick them up and put them in the pool.....but their. They are cool after we gave them a bath they had already looked better. More updates coming soon.

Raising insects

Okay so I started raising insects. I know it sounds crazy but it is very fun. I plan to study them. I so far have 1 praying mantis, 100 crickets, 3 caterpillar cocoons, 2 sets of praying mantis eggs, and a butterfly. The crickets are for the mantis. So far the crickets are my favorite because I keep those in my room so they can stay warm. They chirp all night, but I like it. Well I will update the blog also now about my insects.

Different Types of Honey

Here are different types of honey.

Last week I went out to our chicken coop and found this egg. I could hardly believe it!

I am sold out of my honey! In all I had about 90 oz of honey! Every last drop is gone!!

I just checked my hive today and there was about 5 out of 9 frames full!! This means I will have Honey around early June!
